Invest in Iceland Agency
The Invest in Iceland Agency is run by the Trade Council of Iceland and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. The Agency functions as a “one-stop shop” for foreign investors and provides information on investment opportunities in Iceland and the business environment.
The Agency’s team provides free of charge information and expert confidential service on all aspects of investments, arranges site visits and plans contacts with local authorities as well as local business partners and professional consultants.

Enterprise Europe Network
Launched in 2008 by the European Commission, the Enterprise Europe Network combines and builds on the former Euro Info Centers and Innovation Relay Centers. The new integrated Network offers a "one-stop-shop" to meet all the information needs of SMEs and companies in Europe. Here are examples of some of the services provided by the Network
- Providing information on market opportunities, European legislation and tender information
- Helping companies to find suitable business partners
- Developing the research and innovation capacities of SMEs
- Helping SMEs to share research results, participate in research programs and apply for funding, particularly from the Seventh Framework Programme
- Involving business-actors in the policy-making process of the EU
The Enterprise Europe Network is the largest network of contact points providing information and advice to companies in Europe on EU matters, offering services in more than 40 countries. The Trade Counil of Iceland is one of three hosts to the Enterprise Europe Network in Iceland. The others are the Innovation Centre Iceland and the Icelandic Centre for Research.
